See what an order really costs at your door: product, freight, import duty, fees and VAT, per piece and in total. Duty rates for the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia and UAE are built in.
Landed cost is the total cost of getting goods to your door: the product price, international freight and insurance, import duty, customs fees and import VAT or GST. Comparing suppliers on landed cost, not just unit price, shows the real difference between sourcing countries.
Pakistan is a GSP+ beneficiary, so most leather goods (HS chapter 42) can enter the EU at 0% duty with a valid statement of origin (REX). Import VAT still applies. Pakistan's current GSP+ status runs to the end of 2027 while it reapplies under the EU's new GSP rules.
Pakistan is in the Enhanced Preferences tier of the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), so most leather goods can enter at 0% duty with proof of origin. 20% import VAT still applies.
The normal US duty depends on the product: for example 6% for leather jackets, 9–10% for leather handbags, 8% for wallets and 2.7% for belts. Since 24 July 2026 an additional 10% Section 301 duty applies to most products of Pakistan. A merchandise processing fee (0.3464%) and, for sea freight, a harbour maintenance fee (0.125%) are added.
For VAT or GST registered businesses, import VAT is usually reclaimed, so it affects cash flow rather than final cost. The calculator shows landed cost both with and without it.
Duty rates are based on official tariff schedules checked in October 2026, but the exact rate depends on the final HS code, materials and proof of origin, and freight rates change every week. Use it for budgeting; your quote and your customs broker give the final numbers.
